I joined the Graduate team at JMK in August 2024 after studying Law at Queen’s University Belfast and am now working as a Legal Executive on the Specialist Damage Only Team.

About me
Why did you choose the graduate programme at JMK Solicitors?
I chose the graduate programme at JMK Solicitors as it is a brilliant way to gain experience working in a successful law firm. I had also heard great things about JMK Solicitors from several of my friends who had started on the graduate programme before.
What have you learnt?
Since starting at JMK Solicitors I have received training on how to manage my own case load, attend court and draft court documents among many other valuable skills.
What would you want a law student to know about working at JMK Solicitors?
The opportunity of progression is one of the major benefits of the programme. I started as a graduate working alongside the admin team and have now moved on to the role of a legal executive. In this role I manage my own caseload and am able to work alongside experienced solicitors whilst doing so.
How would you describe the culture at JMK Solicitors?
At JMK Solicitors everyone is a valued member of the team. Everyone is here to help and there are no questions too small.
What has been a highlight of your time so far at JMK Solicitors?
There have been many highlights since starting JMK Solicitors however the first time attending court would be the main one.
